sunset in the southern hemisphere

In the evening we danced early, with dinner delayed till 8pm. Toward the end of dinner an alarm went off, the lights blinked, and we were invaded by the wild and crazy court of King Neptune. Frank Clayton dressed as the king, Peter Barnes as queen. Several folks had to do deeds to appease the court (such as spit salt water like a sea iguana, or do the booby mating dance). The crew was the court. They initiated some of their own with a pretty realistic flogging (ouch!). After some wild salsa dance and a conga line around the galley, we were invited to happy hour at the bar with more dancing. After that and a round or three of cards, I went to bed. apparently a relatively rough trip, though I mostly slept through.
