Mockingbird troica dance

The afternoon trip was trés magnifique! We went to the west end of the island for a dry landing at P. Suarez. We were greeted by a troop of red sea iguanas, California sea lions, mockingbirds, and several bluefooted boobies with a chick. We proceeded up a trail with nesting and mating boobies every couple of feet. Coming to the top of the plateau, we arrived at what Harry called booby paradise, a field of rocks and blue feet in every direction.

On around not too far we reached the other face of the island, facing south. There was an impressive blowhole in a breathtaking cove. The next cove had an even more beautiful view, with a rainbow spray in the distance, and flying boobies, tropic birds, finches, Audubon shearwaters, mockingbirds, and huge, majestic, waved albatrosses. we saw three albatrosses on the ground doing some sort of social thing, a baby, and an abandoned egg. Two hawks came screaming overhead, with two more in the distance. Lizards were all around. We even saw a long skinny snake near the launch site.
