The (wrong) train

Next morning, Dee Dee and I left at breakneck speed to meet all the rest for the train trip to Florence. We bought the tickets for the express train and rushed to the tracks to find them all already on a train for Florence, though they were in 1st class and we'd bought 2nd class tickets. We got on and the train headed out. It was some time later that we figured out that, though all 6 of us had tickets for the express train, we'd all gotten on the slow train that took over 3 hours for the trip, rather than a bit over 1 hour...

Flavio met us at the station and showed us around town, including buying us all a lovely dinner at a small place he knew. We met his family. Flavio had work for NASA in space science for a while -- at Goddard, I think.
