After Flavio showed us around and bought us lunch, we shopped a bit. Ron and Connie went back to Rome that evening. The rest of us stayed in a wonderful hotel in a building that included a tower several hundred years old. The tower had a grand view. After climbing the Duomo to the top, we were ready to eat and rest in our hotel.

Next morning, we headed out to see the museums. Then Dee Dee decided she needed to do some "quick" shopping. I'm the only one who got to see a lot. I started the morning in the Uffizi Gallery, made a short sojourn in another museum, and finished up in the Academia with the real David. We got the express train home, and returned to the Holiday Inn.
